Takeshi Shudo

On 28th October 2010, Pokémon writer Takeshi Shudo was rushed to the hospital after suffering a hemorrhage and collapsing at Nara Station. He has since passed away. Shudo was 61 years-old.

The anime and gaming communities are mourning the loss of the creator of the original Pokemon anime series. Takeshi Shudo is also credited as the sole writer for the first three Pokemon movies, as well as many novels based on the series.

His name may not be instantly recognisable, but his work has most definitely tapped into our lives at an early stage during our childhood. Takeshi Shudo was the creator of Pokemon, one of my beloved cartoons.

SNSD - Hoot

The girl's from Korea's history making SNSD are back with their new song 'Hoot'. Up till now the band hasn't really jumped away from the super tune which is Gee. But it seems they have all changed their image, with new hairstyles, more make-up and overall cuter the girls are certainly irresistible.

The song seems like its based on some 007 theme, because the MV certainly shows evidence of that. But overall the song is catchy once you get into it, but has it beat 'Gee' in terms of popularity? No would be the answer.

CASS ART

One of my favourite shops around London has got to be Cass Art. Firstly, as an artist its a place i visit 'on da regs', or for those who don't downgrade yourself to using colloquial terms, 'regularly'. Its an art store, so its filled with all art essentials for anyone doing art gcses. a-levels and other qualifications.

Best of all is the price of things. Its CHEAP no lie, everything seems to be 50-75% off everytime i visit, and thats like every week. Students also get 15% further discount, as long as you show your student card of course, so its definitely a win-win shop.

The one i always visit is just behind Leicester square, on the way to trafalgar square road. But I have visited slightly bigger stores like the one in Soho, i hear theres a bigger store but i haven't been, so I can't review that. Sorry!

Playful Kiss

ONe thousand apologies for not blogging for so long, its been too out of date and all.

What i want to share now is the recent drama called 'Playful Kiss'. Its Korean drama, which i don't tend to get into because i dont understand the language, but this was something i had to see. If anyone has seen the Taiwanese 'It started with a Kiss', then this series is just a Korean adaption of that. Personally, i think both the male and female main characters are much better looking, however many can challenge me on that view.

Basically the story line is that the girl Oh Hai Ni really fancies this super perfect, super smart and incredibly good looking Baek Sang Jo. She follows him everywhere, and then one day she finds out she must live with him. Her dream come true. Then they go through that process of love and eventually falling for each other, but Baek Sang Jo denying it all the time. Cute, and highly addictive.

All I've gotta say is that i'm totally hooked onto it at the moment.

Facebook

I'm starting to find Facebook really annoying.

No doubt i use it all the time, but the process of checking all my notifications, event invites and the occasional giving in of temptations to stalk pictures is annoying. It tires me out and i'm starting to hate it.
Furthermore i don't like how it always change when you've got used to it. I mean, it is good for the company but not for me. Oh well, we just have to live along with it.
The thing i HATE the most is why does my home-screen have to be filled with a million pieces of jargon. I don't care whether you joined this group, i don't at all. So stop it, and lemme see the useful and more relevant things.

It sucks up all my time, but i'm learning to control myself.

Taeyang International Album

It may be a little bit old to post but imma do it anyways.

So here we have Taeyang's International album, featuring all his top songs from his solo career. Taeyang, a member of Korean boy band BIG BANG, is one of the two famous ones out of the group. This album features his english version of Wedding Dress, which frankly, is good but you do get a few laughs outta his pronunciation.

One of the must hear tracks from the album is 'I Need A Girl' in which G-dragon gets a rap solo in the middle. Its an instant hit song, smooth and calm synthesized sounds in conjunction with his sweet voice is a WIN!

Tracklist:
01 Solar (Intro)
02 Superstar
03 기도 (feat. Teddy)
04 I'll Be There (ENG.)
05 Wedding Dress (ENG.)
06 Connection (feat. 빅톤) (ENG.)
07 Move (feat. Teddy)
08 Where U At
09 I need a Girl (feat. G-dragon)

Friendships

Funny how people you think you're close to don't necessarily think you're close to them and even if you trust them they don't necessarily trust you.

its a weird thing, but do consider it.

Music

Every musician has their own style, whether you like it or not, it's their own style.

So don't try to compare them, just try to listen.

If you don't like, be it.
Nobody will force you.
Music connects the world, that's what I can say.

That Feeling

Does anyone else get that secret loving feeling that wells up inside your heart?

I do.

When you listen to music, especially one of your favourite artists, when you are in one of those isolating moods, the music just speaks to you. Its a special thing that i most definitely treasure. It is a fascinating thing , these beautiful feelings that humans have.

Here is just the song i love to hear from my favourite artist in those moods

AHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Results

Were you happy with your results?

Cos i wasn't really.

If you were one of those people that waited all excited, all ready, prepared to receive that letter just to confirm you had passed with flying colours, but then the sheet only showed you did alright people. Then this article may be the one for you.

Sure, there were people celebrating gloriously around you, and although your results weren't the best or the worst, this is the reason why you are so dumbfounded and upset. Just exactly what had gone wrong in the exam?  You probably felt that you aced some, yet came out with average results. Then you felt some didn't really go well, but came out outstanding. Yes, weird i know.

But you just gotta remember, if your GCSEs weren't that great, don't sulk, move on. Brush it aside and focus, because you are still young. With A-levels coming up, you should redeem yourself and strive towards a better you.

Remember, if you don't live for something you'll die for nothing.

The Stig

Top Gear is undoubtedly one of the best programs on British Television. And upon hearing the news that there is a legal battle to reveal the man behind the Stig suit has greatly upset me.

HarperCollins (Please send them hate messages guys) is now in a fierce battle with the BBC to claim the rights to the Stig's identity, so they can publish an autobiography, and essentially earn money.

I dont know what you guys think, but i think that the Stig should always remain anonymous, because thats what makes him special, and make his character much more mysterious and funny.

The Underground

Seriously, it's one of those things you love, hate, enjoy or detest. Okay I may have repeated myself a bit there but I think you've got the message. As a 16 year old, the underground is simply your ticket to moving around in London.

On one hand the London Underground will get you from A to B in relatively decent time, but being in a cramp carriage deep underground does have some drawbacks. There are windows, which give you a glorious view of eternal darkness and the occasional wires. But where else can one look then? Well, the tube is a very hostile place, please bear with me as I explain. When you enter the doors you have to be very careful to:

1) Look smart
2) Not look stupid or be doing something stupid.

This is because people sitting around the doors or standing even ALWAYS check out the new passengers who come on. Seriously.

Its always funny when I sit on the tube, and look around inside the carriage (because the windows just show blackness). For a guy like myself, i just check out any fit chicks on the tube. Ya know, black, white, hispanic, indian and surprised when i see the occasional yellow. But theres always the chance that when you have locked your eyes on their booty, they catch you back. == TIP == just either smile or look up at the advertisements above =D Otherwise you'll find yourself being slapped in public.

Toy Story

REVIEW TIME!

Yes its been a while since i last blogged, and i apologise...apologize, well, however you sepll it.

So....toy story 3 :)
Well i must say when you get your ticket, find the right room and sit down you instantly realise you are among small children. Awkward. And then you cast your mind to what you are actually doing, did you seriously pay £7 to view a cartoon at the cinema? Jeez.

But seriously, bear with the film. Because although it is an animation, you have kids screaming around you the whole time, the film does pull on your emotions. The first half of the film is laden with just typical toy adventure. Andy is forced to sort out his toys to go to university, and in some inevitable mistake his mum 'accidently' takes them away to Sunnyside nursery. I dont wanna outline the full story but basically Sunnyside is a prison, where toys are treated to cruelty and cannot escape. Nuff said.

So the toys do escape. Bravo. And they return to Andy as always. Now heres where you start to feel a bit....touched. Andy decides to donate his toys to some kid, and he enjoys a last moment to play with em. Sitting there, i felt the need to go "n'awwwwww" And when he says 'Look after them for me wont you? They mean a lot to me' i felt the need to shed a tear.

Being a man i didnt. But if you want to, you can. Because i did see adults in the cinema cry. To think its just an animation is totally wrong. Its a thing of beauty this film, and a brilliant finish to the Toy Story trilogy.

Peace out~

Starbucks

I wasn't really a big fan of coffee. But sometimes i do go out and meet friends in coffee houses, which, in England, means that you visit a high street chain coffee maker. And out of the small range of big chains i choose Starbucks, because thats where i wanna throw my criticism at, but yet i also love the place.

Starbucks has a crazy system for their drink sizes. I bet the CEO's and boss's or whatever just said 'Hey guys, you know what, forget about small, medium or big as adjectives to name sizes, lets use tall, grande and venti instead!'. I bet the employees said no, but they used it anyway. So nowadays, i walk up to the counter, and speak to the counter....person, (who is usually fresh and doesnt really know English) and order my coffee. Then they ask me for the size, at which point i usually stutter and pause, because my mind is busy tryna see what 'tall, grande and venti' mean.

But cos im smart i do finally order what i want anyways.

I love Starbucks because they have great seats and tables. Its the only place in the high street where they provide free sofas to sit on! (At dfs they always say they have low prices, but £299, come on....) So I like to buy my Sam's Chicken and just sit down in a Starbucks to enjoy it. Bliss.

End of transmission, peace out~

Tomorrow :)

Okay, I know i don't really write about my life story but this one has to be said

I'M GOING PAINTBALLING!

Time to turn my COD skills into real life action >;D

Internet rules! Quite literally....

I didn't grow up with internet. In fact it really wasn't until around 2007 that internet was installed in my house. So after the long and difficult maths calculations it seems that the internet has been living and breathing in my house for a good 3 years. And boy, i think it has matured me.

All those noobish things like msn-ing friends after school, joining facebook when it was relatively new (its changed a alot) and discovering documentaries on close-ups of the female body, oh wait, not exactly documentaries are they...
But yes, the internet has been tremendous during my years at high school and for my growing up process. Without knowing it seems that I had grown too close, too dependent on it. So when my computer broke down and finally died around a year ago, i grieved heavily. Brushing aside its outer metal casing and cyber material i was scared, scared that it would not provide me with video joy, facebook notifications, msn, and access to my god-damn internet history.

So that was when i finally lost a firm grasp to the internet to my house. But not the other family members. So around 3 months ago my O2 router began experiencing faults and regularly broke down. And OH SWAG what a reaction indeed. In the space of 10 minutes i had been visited by my brother, dad and aunt asking what in the world was wrong with the internet. It was like a disease ran through the house and everyone going beserk. Not my mum of course, she was in the kitchen cooking, like a good woman.

So yet again what is Chuastar saying? Well, its quite simple, you might want to live without internet on purpose at times just to prepare for the worse. Cos most people genuinely do freak out when it dies, and they won't be ready, but luckily you will be.

End of transmission, peace out~

Kids these days

When i saw some young kids like the other day at the cinema, i was like 'tsk girl how old are ya really?' cos i saw this little, probably 12 year old girl walking along, holding hands with her equally young boyfriend and gonna watch a film together. Many thoughts rushed through my head, mostly like:

One Dudes wtf you two aren't even old enough to play with love
Two How come you're even allowed out at this age
Three Tsk, cinema date? Puh-lease....
Four Little girl you're wearing make up at this age and wearing some low v-necker that shows no cleavage.

Ok there were more but i dont wanna go through that whole list. This whole experience just made me wonder. What have kids gone to these days. When i was about 12 I still hadn't even started going out properly, let alone going out on a date. And this love at twelve thing? Ridiculous. At that age i hadn't even started fondling with certain body parts.

So what is Chuastar tryna say here? I'm just saying that kids these days have been completely changed into wastemen/women. I grew up on Gameboys, VHS and big fat tellies. Nowadays little kids grow up with PSPs, Playstations, their own laptops. And guess what? They all link to the internet, so that means pornography.

So little kids these days? Grow up innocently please and dont make me see any of you at the cinemas again with dates.

End of transmission, peace out~

Youtube Love

Hey guys,

So like recently, i was thinking: what is there to write about now? Since i've started my blog i've had tons of ideas but didnt know really what to put out that would be popular to all. So i thought, hey, you know, show my love for youtube in this post? Yeah sure, what the hell.

Okay, i really can't be pissed to talk all this shit about history, company blah blah blah. Gonna skip to the more interesting parts.

So what do you guys look for on Youtube? Well, most probably people will just check up on music videos, but thats kinda lame. Personally, i find role models and inspirations on YouTube, here lemme give ya lot a list to check out

Timothydelaghetto <-- Topics on life, sexual things, ya know, i like that shit
Shimmycocopuffsss <-- nonsensical rambling, interesting
Mychonny <-- hilarious
Bubzbeauty <-- beauty tips, yes im male but i'm vain
PeterChao <-- just asian accent is..funny

These guys are class acts, and well, im gonna start some filming soon to put on my personal CHUASTAR YOUTUBE CHANNEL! =D yeahhhhh tis gonna be live,  hope ya lot can tune in  once i get started and enjoy the vids

So, thats my not so informative but kinda useful rant for today, keeping things short and sweet, cos people these days cba to read at all.

End of transmission, peace out

English teens

English Teens

Sigh, the english teenager. Always wearing such typical Topman styled clothing, and the time when they get they will inevitably get a really, and its a really really, bad haircut.

But what always happens is, with all this typical clothing and typical bad hairstyle they just go off and do TYPICAL day outs.

Heres the typical day plan:

One Meet up outside the cinema
Two Get a ticket and goddamn watch the movie
Three Get out of the cinema and go eat chicken and chips, most specifically Nando's
Four Say goodbye and go home. Duh?

And all of this just to meet people up? Sigh, sometimes I look back and laugh at my stupidness. You save up meagre pockey money to blow it on, what is frankly, unnecessary things. People should be more inventive and find new day outs. Cos if ya don't, teenagers in this country will only get fatter and more obese, cos every one of them will just sit and watch, sit and eat.

End of transmission, peace out~

Inception Review

Okay so recently I may have been blabbing alot to some people that i've seen Inception. I went to watch this awesome, mind-blowing creation with friends, and more specifically a friend who happened to star in the film (shout out to Tai-Li).

Its really a genius script and well acted out from the cast. If you haven't seen a film in a while that has continuously kept you hooked on and alert, this is definitely the film to do that. The movie is good because it mixes intelligent script writing with explosive action. Which is good because i really don't like those 'BANG BANG BOOM' movies.

So just to round of this quick and sweet review of the film, i would definitely recommend it and it really lives up to the popularity in the media! =D

True that

Last airbender

I was really excited to see the airbender film today, so was my friend whom I brought along solely because we'd talked so much about it during maths lesson....which we shouldn't have done of course. But moving back to the topic...

Good?

Yeah special effects were awesome, and the water princess was a hottie.

Bad?

Well, firstly the film had already failed in my mind, since it isn't called 'Avatar: the last airbender', probably due to the previous blockbuster 'Avatar' claiming the rights for it. There are just too many flaws  with this film. Firstly its just a complete re-make of the popular cartoon series, and when you do that, you risk the interest of the audiences, who, like myself, slept after 30 minutes because I knew I wasn't going to miss the plot. Also the selection of actors, come on, the director chose brown people to play chinese, white people to play indians, and chinese to, well, play awesome chinese people.

Everything was just so jumbled up, the story kept on jumping from nation to nation. I mean, where the hell was the story going?

So overview? Nah don't watch it, its shit.

Small innocent things turned wrong....

LOOOOOOOOOOL!!!

Eating Rice.

I've been fed this stuff since...well, ever since i could remember.

And i used to remember that my mum would always say:
'If you don't finish all your rice, your future wife would not be pretty'

Haha, well, lucky i was always hungry enough to finish it! xD

Blackberry, unexclusive?

It's a shame really. When I got my (then new) Blackberry Curve back in September it was sleek, black and had the standard business class look. Back then it was something that only i possessed in my school, and even more proud, i was part of the 'Blackberry 5' (only 5 people had Blackberries then). Not like you would care much, but I valued it.

Then a few months later a Blackberry craze swept across London and soon people were busy putting their PINS up as statuses on facebook and such. It was great, at first, since my collection of contacts on bbm steadily increased, but this also made bbm.....well, shitty. I have like 50 contacts but in reality I only ever do speak to only 3 people. Its just made it feel unnecessary to own a BB anymore.

Then a month ago an iPhone 4 came into my possession, and i must say, despite all the media hoo hah about the signal problem it is a great phone. Why? Well, its just kept me connected to my iPod, phone and ability to play apps all into ONE device. Awesome indeed. And its just made me realise, Blackberry PIN seems so unnecessary, because there is something called 'texting'. And don't give me argument that 'oh its free texting' cos its not. Frankly i've paid an extra £5 a month for internet to use BBM. The iPhone gives you a better deal, Facetime. Let us forget about just texting or BBM-ing people and lets talk face-to-face like human beings for once? And its even more awesome cos its 100% free. Nice.

So my tip if you're buying a phone? Get the iPhone 4 cos it really is the better deal, don't get caught further into this Blackberry craze.

G-Dragon

G-dragon. One word will describe him; awesome. Yes seriously, ranging from his crazy hairstyles, dance moves, voice and his singing ability he is what most asian boys aspire to be like. The video above is something i have never got bored of, ever.

Yuna Ito

Found a really nice cover of Aerosmith's 'I don't wanna miss a thing'
a much more softer approach at the original, which was more screaming near the end. Anyways, hope you guys will enjoy it!

Freddiew

Without a doubt one of the best animators on Youtube, his work is always entertaining, and best of all! He's a hilarious chinky! hahahahaha
I just really wish one day he could come to the UK and include me in one of his videos

Friendships

After my 2010 GCSE's I was expecting a wonderful summer, one that would live up to all those facebook groups which went along the lines of 'summer 2010 is the wun' or 'summer 2010 will be the greatest summer of your lives'. In truth, it hasn't lived up to those optimistic lines. Well, not for me anyways. I also doubt if other people are experiencing this 'great' summer. I feel that the only people who think this summer is the time of their lives are the people who are leaving school at the age of 16, and not carry on with any further education. That category excludes me, therefore this summer feels rather like the ones in the past.

Anyways, today's article is really meant to be about friendships. And it has been due to this summer holiday that I have found, saved and lost some friendships. You see, at school you tend to think everyone is your friend, but when a holiday like this comes, you realise who are your real friends.

"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."

Intro

Hi Guys! So yeah, this is Chuastar blogging my first post for the first time! So yeah, from now on i'm gonna keep on blogging bits of news, maybe interesting things outta my life and at times when i'm happy =D
Hopefully this blog will be of some success, and from my point of view at the moment, things can only get better cos I started out!
