Internet rules! Quite literally....

I didn't grow up with internet. In fact it really wasn't until around 2007 that internet was installed in my house. So after the long and difficult maths calculations it seems that the internet has been living and breathing in my house for a good 3 years. And boy, i think it has matured me.

All those noobish things like msn-ing friends after school, joining facebook when it was relatively new (its changed a alot) and discovering documentaries on close-ups of the female body, oh wait, not exactly documentaries are they...
But yes, the internet has been tremendous during my years at high school and for my growing up process. Without knowing it seems that I had grown too close, too dependent on it. So when my computer broke down and finally died around a year ago, i grieved heavily. Brushing aside its outer metal casing and cyber material i was scared, scared that it would not provide me with video joy, facebook notifications, msn, and access to my god-damn internet history.

So that was when i finally lost a firm grasp to the internet to my house. But not the other family members. So around 3 months ago my O2 router began experiencing faults and regularly broke down. And OH SWAG what a reaction indeed. In the space of 10 minutes i had been visited by my brother, dad and aunt asking what in the world was wrong with the internet. It was like a disease ran through the house and everyone going beserk. Not my mum of course, she was in the kitchen cooking, like a good woman.

So yet again what is Chuastar saying? Well, its quite simple, you might want to live without internet on purpose at times just to prepare for the worse. Cos most people genuinely do freak out when it dies, and they won't be ready, but luckily you will be.

End of transmission, peace out~
